Disability Income Protection

Stop and think. How long could you sustain your present lifestyle if your paycheck stopped? If you are like most Americans, the answer is probably 1-2 months.

So why haven't you secured your income?  Most Americans insure their homes, cars and death, but forget to insure their income.  Yet, without a paycheck, you may be unable to pay your mortgage, car payments, loans, utilities and other living expenses.

Did you know...
  1. One in eight people suffer disability each year.
  2. Disability is the leading cause of personal bankruptcy and foreclosure.
  3. Over 8o% of all Hospital and ER bills are due to Accidents or Critical Illness (Cancer, Heart Attack, Stroke, etc).
Don’t make the most common and critical mistake in financial planning!  Now that you know the facts, can you afford to go without DI protection?

We have a variety of low-cost plans that can provide financial protection in case of Disability, Critical or Chronic Illness, Long Term Care or Terminal Illness.  Plans can also be designed to cover Business Overhead Expenses.

Contact us @ 1-800-591-3920 or E-mail USAInsuranceBrokers@gmail.com for details or quotations.

Tax-Free Health Insurance Reduces Costs

The IRS can help reduce costs for Health, Life and Long Term Care Insurance premiums for Employers and Employees.

This year, many companies are increasing employee contributions for (or even dropping) group insurance coverage, forcing employees to pay up to 100% of their costs on the individual market.

Companies can set up a new program where the premium payments employees' make for insurance are paid on a pre-tax basis.  This saves employers and employees up to a combined 50% in taxes on employee Health Insurance payments.

It works like a 401(k) or flexible spending account where what you pay for health insurance does not count as income on your W-2.  Employees can also write-off and/or reduce the cost for Life and Long Term Care coverage.  All companies should offer this benefit program because it saves money for the company and employees.

Advantages of Individual Insurance for Employees

Employees should consider Individual coverage vs. Employer Group plans, due to the following reasons:

1. Individual Health & Life coverage is normally 50%-70% less expensive than Group plans. Employee costs may be higher or lower, depending upon the portion paid by the Employer.

2. Individual coverage for dependents is always far less expensive than group premiums.

3. Individual plans are portable from Job-to-Job or State-to-State.

4. Pre-existing conditions can cause you to be declined by Individual Carriers.

5. Plans can be designed to match your desired coverage benefits vs. a choice of 1-2 carriers

6. Eliminates need to pay high COBRA premium, if you are eligible.

7. If you are also self-employed, you can write-off 100% of premiums and out-of-pocket expenses for Medical, Dental, Vision, Rx, etc.

8. Employers can now establish a Section 105 HRA to pay up to 100% of premiums for Employees.
